Lakshmi Narayani(Golden) Temple

Prominence of the Shrine : This temple is called as South India’s Golden temple and it is second golden temple in India after Amritsar. If the devotees worship the goddess Narayani here from Maha Mandapam they will get all the sixteen prosperities.
Temple History : This temple is constructed using gold for about 5000 sqft. Approximately 1500 Kilograms of Gold is used to build the temple. The goddess inside this temple is referred as “Narayani”. To reach the main sanctum sanctorum devotees need to walk through a Star shaped pathway. Earlier there was an old temple here and behind that this new golder temple is constructed in the year 2007. Across this temple there is a small self-made idol of Narayni is there under the hut. This Sannidhi is called as “Narayani Peedam”. Everyday food is provided for the devotees during lunch and dinner.
